Prekindergarten is held at the following elementary school campuses:

San Jacinto Elementary
Please contact your neighborhood school if you are interested in PreK for your child. Â If your child is determined to be eligible and your neighborhood school does not currently have a program, you will be notified of the campus at which your child will attend.

To participate in CISD’s Prekindergarten Program, a child must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the current school year AND meet one of the following criteria:
Limited English Proficiency: the child is unable to speak or comprehend the English Language
Educationally Disadvantaged: the child would be eligible to participate in the National Free and Reduced Lunch Program (based on family’s gross income)
Homeless: the child is homeless
Child of an active duty of the Armed Services of the United States
Child of a member of the Armed Services who was injured or killed while on active duty
Child has been under the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services following an adversary hearing.
The following documents are required to register for Prekindergarten:
Proof of income (two most recent pay stubs for all household members)
Proof of residence (current utility bill with parent/guardian’s name and address)
Social Security card of the child
Current immunization records
To enter the Kindergarten program in Conroe ISD, a child must be five years old on or before September 1 of the current school year.
Document to establish identity and age for registration include the following (birth certificate, passport, school ID card, military ID, hospital birth record, adoption record, or other legal document that establishes identity)
