SafeSchools (now Vector Solutions) is a library of online school-focused safety courses that can be accessed anytime and anywhere on the CISD website.


Frequently Asked Questions

Conroe ISD is offereing five (5) exchange day opportunities for 187-day teacher employees during the 2024-25 school year. There are three (3) required Asynchronous Mandatory Training dates, and there are two (2) 6-hour Approved Training dates which allow teachers to choose content that aligns with their teaching assignment, campus, or instructional needs. All 187-day teacher employees must follow the guidelines listed below.

Guidelines for Exchange Days

  1. An electronic Acknowledgment of Understanding is required before the end of the 2023-24 school year for 187-day teacher employees.
  2. No credit will be given for partial completion
  3. 187-day teach employees who
    a. have not reported for duty or entered an absence in Frontline on a given Exchange Day will have an absence entered on their behalf. If the employee does not have any leave available, his/her paycheck may reflect the missed time from work in accordance with the Employee Handbook.
    b. are on medical leave on an Exchange Day and who have not completed their Asynchronous Mandatory Training will need to enter an absence in Frontline.
  4. Asynchronous Mandatory Training: All 187-day teacher employees must complete all components of the asynchronous mandatory training sessions in their entirety on each of the designated days: October 11, 2024, November 4, 2024, and February 14, 2025.
    a. Teachers who do not complete the asynchronous mandatory training during the time periods allotted must either report to duty on the required day or take a personal day and enter an absence in Frontline. Make-up training will be coordinated through the campus principal.
  5. 6-Hour Approved Training (optional): The two (2) 6-hour approved training days on April 21, 2025, and May 28, 2025, are optional.
    a. 187-day teacher employees who do not complete the two (2) 6-hour approved training days by the documentation due dates* in this notification must either report to duty or take a personal day and enter an absence in Frontline.

Directions for Asynchronous Mandatory Training Days

  1. 187-day teacher employees must complete their online staff development training by 11:59 p.m. on each designated Exchange Day.
  2. 187-day teacher employees must verify access to their asynchronous mandatory training modules in Vector Solutions and Canvas (see above) by logging in through the SSO prior to each Exchange Day.
    a. Vector Solutions requires your Employee Identification Number (EIN) to access the training videos. Contact your campus principal if you have any trouble logging into this system.
    b. Canvas courses, which are selected by each campus administration, will include a selection of 2-hour or 3-hour courses over a variety of cross-curricular modules that are relevant to all 187-day teacher employees.
  3. Training completion will be verified by the principal after the Exchange Day. 187-day teacher employees will also receive an email with the record of their module completion.

Vector Solutions Information for Administrators to Share with Teachers
Vector Solutions is a library of online school-focused safety courses that can be accessed anytime and anywhere through the CISD website. The Vector Solutions courses selected for our teachers, nurses, speech therapists, and librarians cover various topics, including child abuse identification and intervention, sexual harassment, and many others.

All staff who choose to participate in Exchange Day will use the Vector Solutions system to complete their online training. Each staff member will need to follow the steps below:

1. You will login to the Vector Solutions website to access your training. All teachers, librarians, speech therapists, and nurses will use their assigned Employee Identification Number (EIN) to login to the Vector Solutions website at or by going to the CISD Single Sign-On Portal
selecting “Vector Solutions” in the CISD Apps.
a. To login, an employee must know his or her EIN; This number will be the employee’s username in Vector Solutions. No password is required.
b. If you have trouble logging in, please contact your campus principal.

2. NEW DISTRICT EMPLOYEES / POSITION CHANGES: The EINs for new District employees and returning employees changing to a new position are uploaded on Mondays.
Please note that it may take a couple of weeks for the EIN to become active in Vector Solutions, as there is a process that takes place through HR, Payroll, and Finance. If you are a New-to-the-District teacher, librarian, speech therapist, or nurse and have not been assigned an EIN, please contact Paul LeBlanc at or 936-709-7782.

3. Once you have logged into Vector Solutions, you will see the list of courses that have been assigned to you. To start a training, click on the course title and follow the prompts. You can start and stop a course at any time, but you must view each page of the training, complete each required scenario, and take each test in order to receive credit. At the end of each course, you must complete the required assessment and receive the assessment minimum accuracy in order to receive credit for the training. The training can be completed on any computer that has access to the internet.

4. The CISD employee handbook will be added upon its approval. Communication will be sent out to log in to Vector Solutions to access and acknowledge you have read and received the employee handbook.

5. Save all certificates of Vector Solutions training completed. Be mindful of any position change during, or after the time of completing required courses. A change in position may
change your required courses.

6. Additional courses may be added to your Vector Solutions training plan as guidance from the TEA and State of Texas changes.
