To develop scientifically literate students by providing opportunities through a learning continuum that develops knowledge based problem solving skills, enabling students to make responsible choices when faced with future challenges.  Science teachers will ensure rigorous instruction for all students and a commitment to the challenge of extending knowledge to a high level of thinking and understanding.
