ExxonMobil Hosts Women in STEM at Oak Ridge HS
OAK RIDGE NORTH, TEXAS – Several Oak Ridge High School seniors and juniors participated in ExxonMobil’s Women in STEM Conference.
Attendees met ExxonMobil’s robot dog mascot, “Snoop,” learned first-hand how virtual reality is helping engineers on job sites, and how to make a working conductor for electricity.
There was also an engineering contest to see which team could build the tallest structure using only tape and 40 sheets of paper. The final test was to see if their structures could hold a can of vegetables.
