TSIA2 Testing: February through March

The Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 is used to determine college placement level in reading, mathematics and writing for students pursuing credits. It is State required for all students who attend a public institution of higher education before they can be placed in any college level course.

About TSIA2

FREE testing for students who use their Texas Test Reimbursement. Out-of-pocket cost is $29 for full exam or $10 per retest section.
Students must complete the following before testing:
- 1. Lone Star (LSC) Application
  2. Receive LSC Student ID number
  3. State required Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA)
Contact your high school’s College & Career Counselor to begin the Lone Star application and testing process.
