CONROE, TEXAS (January 17, 2024) â The Conroe ISD academic calendars for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years were approved by the Board of Trustees at their meeting on January 16.
Both calendars include 172 days of instruction, six days of professional learning and five exchange days for teachers, and early release on the last days of each semester. The first day of school in 2024 will be August 14, while the last day will be May 23. The first day of school in 2025 will be August 13, and the last day will be May 22.
The winter break will be December 23 through January 3 for 2024-25 and December 22 through January 2 for 2025-26. Spring Break will be March 10-14 in 2025 and March 9-13 in 2026.
The calendars were developed by the District-Level Planning and Decision Making Committee with input from community surveys. Several drafts were made available for feedback before being narrowed down for final presentation to the Board.
