College Park Senior Records Perfect Score on AP Research Exam

CONROE, TEXAS (October 30, 2023) – Isabel Eshetu, a senior in the Academy of Science and Technology at College Park High School in The Woodlands, was recently informed she earned a perfect score on the AP Research Exam she completed in May.

Not only did Eshetu earn the top score of five, but she was one of 357 students from around the world to earn every possible point on the college-level exam. The perfect score represented 1.26 percent of the nearly 30,000 students who took the test.

Eshetu’s research titled “Classifying White Blood Cells for Blood Smears Using a Convolutional Neural Network” studied the advantages of machine learning to diagnose blood-related disorders.
