Our 4th grade Astros worked with paired passages today, exploring both a nonfiction text and a poem! Students identified the genre of each selection and prepared themselves to think strategically about the type of information they should gather while reading. It was great to see their engagement and thoughtful approach as they strengthened their comprehension skills and built confidence as readers. Way to go, 4th grade!
