Conroe ISD mourns the passing of Dr. Jean Stewart, the namesake of Stewart Elementary. Dr. Stewart devoted 40 years of service to the District, first as a teacher at Travis Junior High, as well as assistant principal at Rice Elementary, principal at Giesinger Elementary, and several roles in administration throughout her career. She was named Deputy Superintendent in 2003 and retired in 2011. We are grateful for the life and legacy of Dr. Stewart.
