Three elite CISD music programs are headed to the world stage 🎶

The College Park HS Wind Ensemble, Symphony String Orchestra, and The Woodlands HS Percussion Ensemble have been selected to perform at the 80th annual Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference in Chicago, one of the highest honors in school music.

Chosen through a rigorous blind audition process, these groups will perform for more than 18,000 attendees from around the world December 16 to 18, 2026 at McCormick Place.

York Junior High recently hosted “The Amazing Shake,” where students built communication skills, practiced etiquette, and took part in a mock competition designed to give them real-world experience in a variety of social settings. This was a great event and an even more impressive group of students! 🤝✨
