Aiden Fritsche, a student at The Woodlands High School, won a National Gold Medal in the Scholastic Art and Writing competition for one of his photographs. Since its founding in 1923, Scholastic Art and Writing has recognized top teen artists around the country and this summer in New York City, Aiden will receive national recognition. Way to go, Aiden!

Sophia, a student at Gordon Reed Elementary, recently participated in a karate competition in Cincinnati, Ohio, aiming to qualify for Team USA. She successfully qualified in both Japanese Traditional Kata and Point Sparring! As a member of Team USA, she will be traveling to England in September to represent the United States.
