Conroe ISD Superintendent Dr. David Vinson and Board President Misty Odenweller surprised three members of the Caney Creek High School community Thursday, March 5.
The Texas Standard Awards, formerly known as the Ambassador Awards, reflect the traits of commitment, character, and connection. Vinson notes that, "compassion, efficiency, and humility are what make students (and staff) a shining example of the Texas spirit. Character begins here, at Conroe ISD."
The district honors a teacher, paraprofessional and a student at each campus to recognize their efforts in those areas.
TEACHER: Heidi Kloes, Starlettes drill team and Panteras en Fuego folklorico dance instructor
PARAPROFESSIONAL: Ester Davila, associate principal secretary
STUDENT: senior Logan Day, Student Media executive editor & swim team captain
