Today was such a special day at Austin Elementary as we welcomed back our graduating seniors for their Senior Walk!🖤
The halls were filled with smiles, excitement, and so many memories as our former Cubs walked through the campus where their journey first began. Our students were thrilled to cheer them on and celebrate this exciting milestone with them! 🎓🐾
The seniors also got to enjoy some fun time in PE with the parachute, along with snacks and sno cones provided by PTO! 🍧🎉
We are so proud of all of our seniors and can’t wait to see all the incredible things they accomplish in the future. Once a Cub, always a Cub! ❤️

Friday, our Austin Cubs were SO excited to enjoy Kona Ice at school! The smiles, happy dances, and colorful snow cones made for such a fun day for our students. ❤️

Today was an amazing Career Day at Austin Elementary! We are so thankful for all of our wonderful volunteers who took time out of their busy day to speak with and inspire our students. Your willingness to share your careers, experiences, and knowledge helped make this day such a success.

This week, we are celebrating the amazing teachers of Austin Elementary who go above and beyond for our students every single day. We are so thankful for the heart, dedication, and love they pour into our campus! ❤️
We kicked off the week yesterday with a sweet treat from our wonderful PTO—a delicious cake bar with all the toppings 🍰😋
Today, PTO kept the fun going by passing out hand sanitizer (aka “a teacher’s secret weapon” 🧼✨), and Admin treated our staff to a candy bar—our very own “Superhero Power Bar” 🍫🦸♀️
Thank you to our incredible PTO and Admin team for making our teachers feel so appreciated!

In an effort to keep you informed, our building was without power for just over an hour due to an 18-wheeler striking a power pole in the area. The power is back on at this time. All students are safe and were able to finish lunch. They did a great job remaining patient during the disruption.
District maintenance and technology personnel responded quickly to assist us in continuing our day as normally as possible.
