Update from Conroe ISD: YouTube and Virtual School

Please join us for a live update from Dr. Curtis Null, Superintendent, on Thursday, April 22, at 6 PM on the Conroe ISD YouTube Channel. Information will be shared about a variety of topics including 2021 Graduations, Summer School, and Conroe ISD’s Virtual School.

More about the Virtual School
Conroe ISD is currently making plans to have a virtual school starting in the 2021-2022 school year. Whether the State will allow a virtual school option remains uncertain at this time, but District administrators are monitoring the ongoing legislative actions on relevant bills that have been introduced. Pending the outcome of the current legislative session, the District will either continue planning or cease our development efforts.

If the State grants permission for a virtual school option, Conroe ISD plans to provide a program that will initially serve students in grades 3 through 9 through a single virtual campus. If you are interested in learning more, please visit virtual.conroeisd.net to review the draft handbook and course catalog. There is also a link to a form that you can complete if you are interested in the virtual school option for your child. By completing this form, you will also receive future communications and updates regarding the progress of our virtual school program.

We are excited about the possibility of providing this option for our families.
