During the 2024 fall semester, Conroe ISD’s Attendance Boundary Committee (ABC) will review attendance boundaries in preparation for the opening of Mittie J. Campbell Elementary School and W. Robert Eissler Elementary School in August of 2025. Campbell Elementary will be located at 15895 Stonecrest Dr., Conroe, TX 77302, will serve both the Caney Creek and Oak Ridge High School feeders, will have a capacity for 950 students, and is anticipated to serve grades K-6. Eissler Elementary will be located at 14000 Old Conroe Rd., Conroe, TX 77384, will serve The Woodlands High School feeder, will also have a capacity for 950 students, and is anticipated to serve grades K-4 or K-6, depending on current and future enrollment projections.

The committee will review several scenarios before presenting its proposals to the CISD Board of Trustees, likely in January 2025. The Board is responsible for the final decision on the attendance boundaries.

In addition to the overall goals of the planning committee outlined below, the objectives included the following:

Eissler Elementary (Flex #24)

  • Develop an attendance boundary to populate Eissler Elementary while still preserving some campus capacity for future growth of the facility.

  • Potentially provide overcrowding relief to multiple elementary/intermediate grade level campuses within The Woodlands feeder elementary/intermediate schools that are over capacity.

Campbell Elementary (Flex #25)

  • Develop an attendance boundary to populate Campbell Elementary while still preserving some campus capacity for future growth of the facility.

  • Provide overcrowding relief to Suchma Elementary and potentially Oak Ridge Elementary and Vogel Intermediate.

  • Proactively addressing upcoming anticipated growth and capacity issues at San Jacinto Elementary.

Zoning Process Information

It is important to the district to obtain the input of parents and community members throughout the process. The District will share information about the process through live in-person meetings, live webinars recorded for viewing at a convenient time, school newsletters, and the ABC webpage.

Community Presentations

The ABC presents various zoning scenarios developed by the ABC and solicits feedback via the website:

  • The same zoning up date is available at two different times in both virtual/recorded format and in-person later in the week.

  • This in-person scenario viewing is a come-and-go event where attendees can give feedback on proposed scenarios. Note all scenarios under consideration are always included online at our Attendance Boundary Website for potential feedback.

  • Each webinar will be recorded for viewing convenience and posted on our Attendance Boundary Website.

Submit Your Own Zoning Scenario

You can submit a scenario for Eissler K-4, Eissler K-6, or Campbell. You do not have to submit a scenario for all three options. However, in order for your scenario to be considered by the ABC, all tabs of the spreadsheet must be filled out entirely for both elementary and intermediate schools. Email your completed worksheet to attendance-boundary@conroeisd.net.
