In 2024, Conroe ISD began a partnership with Apptegy for new websites, a new mass communication system called Alerts, and a brand new feature for the District in the form of a parent-teacher two-way communication system called Rooms. You are already noticing the new District website, which launched in early 2025, and the new campus websites, which launched after Spring Break. Explore more below about how we are improving the communication experience for families across the District.

Our new website features an introductory video, easy-to-locate School Directory, tabs for the most-frequented pages for families, an Explore site menu with quick access links, and several feature sections to highlight the great things happening in Conroe ISD!

Alerts

Apptegy's Alerts allows Conroe ISD to engage with families through multiple channels. The mass notification system allows the District to send a message through SMS, text-to-speech, voice calls, push notifications, email, and social media on one platform.

This system went live at the end of April and will be fully implemented by every campus for the start of the 2025-26 school year.

Be on the lookout for texts from 98900. Emails and texts may have a slightly different look, but they’ll still contain all of the same great information.

Rooms

Apptegy's Rooms is a two-way messaging solution integrated directly into the Conroe ISD app. This allows teachers and families to communicate directly in the same app where families get their school news and updates.

Look for more information about Rooms as it will be fully launched for the beginning of the 2025-26 school year.
