ESL: Stockton Jr. High English as a Second Language (ESL) Program is here to work with students by helping them acquire skills to read, write, speak and listen in their second language, English. This is accomplished by engaging students in meaningful lessons that allows students to use their second language as they would in the real world.

ELLA: Stockton Jr. High English Learners Language Arts (ELLA) Classes are here to work with students by helping strengthen their critical thinking skills in the domains of reading and writing by using language acquisition strategies.
