Moorhead Junior High Principal Named at Board Meeting
The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees approved the naming of a new principal for Moorhead Junior High for the 2017-18 school year at their meeting Tuesday night.
Robert Garcia, Conroe ISD School Safety Coordinator and District Hearing Officer, was named principal of Moorhead Junior High. Robert has served in Conroe ISD for the past 5 years. He began as an assistant principal at Conroe High School in 2012. Prior to coming to CISD, Robert served in administrative capacities in Bryan and Hearne ISDs.
In his remarks to the Board, he stated, “I’m so excited about this opportunity. I’ve heard so many wonderful things about the students, staff, and parents of Moorhead Junior High, and I’m honored to join the Panther family. I plan to continue to build on the great things that are already happening at Moorhead. It has been an amazing experience working in Conroe ISD for the last five years. I look forward to serving the students, staff, and families of Moorhead Junior High for years to come.”
Robert is replacing Dr. Jeff Stichler who was named principal of Caney Creek High School at the April Board Meeting.
