Frequently Asked Questions
Administrators from every campus and various departments in Conroe ISD will be present at the Professional Job Fair, located at their respective campus/department tables.
- Campus administrators will bring a team of leaders from their campus to assist with applicant screening and interviewing. These recruiters regularly participate in the screening and interviewing process, so it is just as valuable to visit with them at the campus tables as it is to visit with the campus administrators.
- Campus principals will be present to greet applicants; however, most interviewing and recommendations to the principal for hire will take place between candidates and campus recruiters.
- Department administrators will also bring a team of leaders to assist with applicant screening and interviewing. These departments include Career and Technology Education, Counseling, Dyslexia/Reading Interventionists, Fine Arts, Health Services (campus nurses), Instructional Technology, Librarians, Physical Education/Athletics, Special Education, and Teaching and Learning.
Conroe ISD District administrators will be present, including the Superintendent, the Deputy Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, and Directors, as well as members of the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees.
Historically, more than 1,000 applicants register for and attend the Conroe ISD Professional Job Fair.
Your Job Fair badge will be scanned as you enter the event. This allows Conroe ISD to send follow-up communications to all who attended. Some campuses and departments will also scan your Job Fair badge so that they have a record of who visited their campus/department table. If you visit a campus/department table and they do not scan your badge, please do not be concerned as they may have a different process to track applicants. Thank you for wearing your badge as it helps our interview teams easily recognize your name and your certification area during the Job Fair. Name badge sleeves are available as you enter the Job Fair.

Campus principals have carefully selected representatives from their campuses to serve as recruiters at the Conroe ISD Professional Job Fair. These representatives serve on campus interview committees, and the principals seek their input on candidates. Speaking with the campus recruiters at the Conroe ISD Professional Job Fair is just as valuable as speaking with the campus principal. Conroe ISD principals are more likely to select a candidate for an interview if the candidate was referred to them by a campus recruiter.
