Conroe ISD Board of Trustees Names Principals

The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the principals for two schools at the Board Meeting on Tuesday, April 19, 2016.  Anthony LiVecchi was named Principal of Oak Ridge High School Ninth Grade Campus, and Jill Price was named Principal of Buckalew Elementary School.

Anthony LiVecchi began his career in education in 2008 as a social studies teacher in Spring ISD. He then moved to Conroe ISD where he taught social studies at The Woodlands College Park High School from 2009 to 2012.  In 2012, he became an assistant principal at the campus and has served in that position the past four years. In thanking the Board, Mr. LiVecchi said, “Thank you for this opportunity to serve the students and staff of Oak Ridge High School Ninth Grade Campus.  I look forward to working closely with all Oak Ridge High school administration and staff to continue to enhance and create an exceptional school program for all of our students.”

Jill Price has been Assistant Principal of Buckalew Elementary since 2010. Prior to coming to Conroe ISD, Mrs. Price taught in Scottsdale, Arizona for six years and was an administrator in Phoenix, Arizona for four years. Addressing the Board, Mrs. Price stated, “I am a graduate of CISD, my mother was a teacher in CISD for over 30 years, and I am honored to continue the legacy of the last 16 years of leadership by Linda Crews. I am blessed beyond belief and excited for the opportunity to serve the wonderful community of Buckalew Elementary.”
