CISD Board of Trustees Approves New Headmaster of Academy for Science and Health Professions
At their meeting Tuesday night, the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees approved Dr. Terri Benson as the new Headmaster of the Academy for Science and Health Professions.
In addressing the Board, Dr. Benson stated, “Thank you so much for the incredible opportunity to lead the Academy for Science and Health Professions, and for placing faith in me to continue the academic excellence at Conroe High School in the capacity of Headmaster. Dr. Papadimitriou has created a unique and special organization, and I am truly honored and humbled to follow him and commit to furthering the positive culture and collegiate preparation of the students.”
Dr. Benson currently serves as the associate principal of curriculum and instruction at Conroe High School. She has also served as an assistant principal and teacher at Conroe High School. She is filling the position formerly held by Dr. Michael Papadimitriou who will be opening the new Academy for Careers in Engineering and Science in 2018 that will be housed at Oak Ridge High School.
