Campus Updates: September 25 – October 1

Buckalew Elementary
Students have the opportunity to be nominated as a “Student of the Week” when they demonstrate any of the 7 keys to Success we teach at our school.  Students nominated receive a special certificate to take home.  They are then entered into a weekly drawing.  The winners are on the announcements and are presented a “Principal’s Medallion”.  One student per grade level is drawn weekly.  Congratulations to the children that received the award for the last three weeks.  For the week of August 22:  Khadija Chandabhai, Grace Allen, Cameron Gooch, David Fernandez and Abby Lewis. For the week of August 29:  Oliver Woods, Aidana Sturdivant, Fynn Anderson, Anthony Austin and Andrew Korotun.  For the week of September 5 the children are Nolan Naughton, Elizabeth Blethen, Carter Schmitt, Graham McCoy and Sara Ifeanyichukwu.

Cox Intermediate
We would like to invite the community to participate in our Second Annual Electric 3K Zombie Run/Walk on Friday, October 14 from 6:30-8 p.m. Registration forms can be found on our website at cox.conroeisd.net. $5 per person.

Timberwolf teachers are Recognizing Our Committed Kids. Teachers are keeping their eyes out for students who are making great choices in behavior. David Elementary
The school year is off to a great start at David! We welcomed students and families back to school with Meet the Teacher for the students and a Welcome Back Luncheon for parents. We also held our first PTO Meeting of the year.

Stewart Elementary
Individual Fall Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, September 27.

Join us for Open House on Thursday, September 29 form 5:30 – 7 p.m. Parents are invited to visit classrooms, meet our Parent Teacher Organization members, and find out information about Watch D.O.G.S.

Tough Elementary
Sixth grade students at Coulson Tough are working on a school service project, “Titan Book Share”.  They will provide much needed books to the students and family members at Reaves Elementary in Conroe.  They will also partner with H.E.B. during the month of September, and donate books to children in their own community.

Vogel Intermediate
On September 29 we are having a fundraiser Skate Night at SK8 Town from 6-8:30 p.m.
