Board of Trustees Recognize School Ambassadors

The Conroe Independent School District Board of Trustees honored several individuals with an Ambassador Award when Board Member Scott Kidd and Dr. Don Stockton, Superintendent, The Woodlands College Park High School, Hailey Elementary, Wilkerson Intermediate, Knox Junior High, Ride Elementary, and Collins Intermediate.

The Board of Trustees began the Ambassador Awards to recognize individuals for their positive contributions to campus life and campus climate. Throughout the year, each campus is visited by a member from the Board who surprises the award recipients while they are performing their duties as either a student or an employee.

Students honored Blake Murrell, The Woodlands College Park High School; Lena Taylor, Hailey Elementary; Gracie Heinle, Wilkerson Intermediate; Austin Luchak, Knox Junior High; Mary Sanchez, Ride Elementary; and Allison Bridges, Collins Intermediate.

Paraprofessionals honored Jonathan Montoya, The Woodlands College Park High School; Wanda Gano, Hailey Elementary; Carol Jackson, Wilkerson Intermediate; Marcia Skowron, Knox Junior High; Natalie Velez, Ride Elementary; and Brittney Harpur, Collins Intermediate.

Educators honored Chip Ehlert, The Woodlands College Park High School; Jana Hamby, Hailey Elementary; Alison Cote, Wilkerson Intermediate; Rachel Horton, Knox Junior High; Katie Jackson, Ride Elementary; and Paige Kirbo, Collins Intermediate.
