Board of Trustees Recognize School Ambassadors

The Conroe Independent School District Board of Trustees honored several individuals with an Ambassador Award when Board Member Mr. Scott Moore, along with Superintendent Dr. Curtis Null, visited Conroe High School, Reaves Elementary, Giesinger Elementary, Cryar Intermediate, and Peet Junior High.

The Board of Trustees began the Ambassador Awards to recognize individuals for their positive contributions to campus life and campus climate. Throughout the year, each campus is visited by one or more members of the Board who surprise the award recipients while they are performing their duties as either a student or an employee.

Students honored were Quadre Moore, Conroe High School; David Ochoa, Reaves Elementary; Aubrey Barton, Giesinger Elementary; Blake Landry, Cryar Intermediate; and Zayyad Osuolale, Peet Junior High.

Paraprofessionals honored were Lisa Barnes, Conroe High School; Jamie Tavarez, Reaves Elementary; Joselin Sanchez, Giesinger Elementary; Carla Grover, Cryar Intermediate; and Maria Jimenez, Peet Junior High.

Educators honored were Gillian Davis, Conroe High School; Kathy Collins, Reaves Elementary; MariAnn O’Hagan, Giesinger Elementary; Paula Trippel, Cryar Intermediate; and Michael Edwards, Peet Junior High.
