At their meeting Tuesday night, the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees approved Crystal Poncho as the new principal of Snyder Elementary.
In addressing the Board, Mrs. Poncho stated, “I am so humbled and honored to accept the position of principal at Snyder Elementary where each day students strive for success, accomplishment, leadership, unity, teamwork, and excellence. I will continue to build upon the strong foundation of Snyder Elementary by always putting students first, building positive relationships with students, staff and the community, and continuing the great works of Dr. Ann K. Snyder through philanthropy.”
Mrs. Poncho began serving in Conroe ISD in 2008 as a teacher. In addition to her current position as an assistant principal, she has also served as a District Instructional Coach and Summer School Principal.
She is filling the position held by Lindsay Ardoin who will be opening the new Katherine Johnson Clark Intermediate in August of 2018.
