Mid-Year Graduates Celebrated with Ceremony

Approximately 30 seniors from across Conroe ISD were celebrated at the Mid-Year Graduation Ceremony held at Conroe High School on Friday, December 15, 2017.

Students from different high schools participated in the ceremony with Citlalli Sanchez-Ramirez, Oak Ridge High School, leading the invitation to post colors; Malisha Alford, Hauke High School, and Fernando Plascencia, Jr., The Woodlands College Park High School, leading the pledges; and Haleigh Gallant, Oak Ridge High School, Denise Lyttle, The Woodlands High School, and Sarah Adams, Conroe High School, offering words of welcome, encouragement and congratulations.

In her remarks to the graduates prior to the presentation of diplomas, graduate Denise Lyttle issued a challenge to the group when she stated, “Do everything to the best of your ability graduates, and strive every day to be the best you can be. Believe in yourself, take on your challenges head-on, and dig deep within yourself to conquer your fears.”

Conroe ISD will hold six graduation ceremonies this spring. The graduation dates are as follows:

  • Thursday, May 24: Conroe High School
  • Friday, May 25: The Woodlands College Park High School
  • Saturday, May 26: Hauke High School and Caney Creek High School
  • Tuesday, May 29: The Woodlands High School
  • Wednesday, May 30: Oak Ridge High School
