The TA TEKS in the Information acquisition, Problem solving, and
Communication strands can be addressed in academic content areas by including
the following project-based learning activities utilizing the technology
available on the campus.

Electronic research: CD ROM encyclopedias, on-line databases, and Internet
research. Include search strategies, evaluation of quality (validity) of

Word processing: include editing/revising documents, evaluating finished
product (font, size, graphics, as well as content) TEKS: 1A, 2B-C-D-E,

The TA TEKS in the Foundations strand are specific to technology use, but
can be covered in any of the above projects or in a separate computer lab
class, whichever is appropriate to each campus.
