    Tutorials, activities, projects and lesson plans for every content area and every grade level.

Children's Literature Web Guide:
    Contains dozens of features such as children's book awards, best books of the past years, book discussions, authors and stories on the web, and links to other useful resources. The guide addresses children's and young adult's books.

Classroom Connect on the Web:
    Classroom Connect is dedicated to the instructional use of the Internet. Examine G.R.A.D.E.S. to bookmark sites for certain groups of kids.

Teachers Helping Teachers:
    Winner of many Internet awards! Find basic teaching tips and new ideas and methodologies for all teachers. Lesson plans and ideas are organized by classroom management, language arts, math social studies and the arts.

Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators:
    This is a classified (not secret- just organized. SMILE) list of sites useful for enhancing curriculum and teacher professional growth. You gotta see it just once.
 
 TENET Web:
    Yes, it is still there. It may not be totally current, but there are still lots of good materials.

Free Curriculum for Elementary Teachers:
    For grade 2-5 teachers. Focus is on the environment. Worth a look.

Education Index:
    Some say this is the best and most useful education related site on the Web. Dozens of content areas, and the entire site is frequently updated.

New York Times Learning Network:
    Daily feature articles from the Times, complete with related classroom activities, plus information about significant events that have occurred on this date in history.

History / Social Studies Web Sites for K-12 Teachers:
    The title says it all, though sections include American, European, and non-western history plus government, archaeology, and more.

Social Studies Center for Educator Development:
    Developed by TAMU and Region VI ESC, this site contains lesson plans tied with the TEKS as well as links to a variety of materials of interest to all teachers.
