Conroe ISD Celebrates Summer Graduates

Students toss their caps at the conclusion of the summer graduation ceremony held on August 4 at The Woodlands College Park High School.

Over 60 seniors from Conroe ISD high schools graduated in a joint ceremony held Friday, August 4, at The Woodlands College Park High School. Jim Kacur, Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools, began the ceremony with a welcome before recognizing the graduates and special guests.

The ceremony included the Presentation of Colors by The Woodlands College Park High School Marine Corps JROTC along with the participation of graduates from several CISD high schools in leading the pledges. Elizabeth Brown, Oak Ridge High School graduate, gave remarks about the students’ educational journeys prior to the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees presenting the graduates with their diplomas as they crossed the stage.

Chad Wade, a Conroe High School graduate, concluded the ceremony with the turning of the tassels and congratulations.
