Conroe ISD is proud to announce the hiring of over 400 teachers for the 2012-13 school year. On Monday, all novice teachers attended the "Novice Teacher Academy," and all new Conroe ISD teachers spent Tuesday and Wednesday at "Introduction to CISD: New Teacher Orientation." Both events were held at Conroe High School. The orientation began with a welcome from Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Don Stockton. On Tuesday, all CISD principals joined the new teachers for a lunch sponsored by Woodforest Bank, and on Wednesday, teachers received community information at the District’s Vendor Fair. The orientation was not only a time for new teachers to learn about District-focused initiatives and curriculum, but it was also a time for them to meet new colleagues. Conroe ISD is excited about the highly qualified additions to our CISD family!
