The Conroe Chapter of the Texas State Teacher Association (TSTA) held the annual banquet to honor outstanding employees, teachers, and volunteers who make a difference in the lives of students and provide a positive influence on the culture of the schools they serve. Approximately six hundred attendees gathered to honor those chosen from each Conroe ISD campus as Humanitarian, Teacher of the year, and Friend of Education.
During the evening Myelin Games, fifth grade teacher from Grangerland Intermediate and Andy Chital, English teacher from Hauke Academic Alternative High School were named the 2012 Conroe ISD Teachers of the Year.
