Birnham Woods Elementary School On May 30, the school will hold an awards ceremony during student's Specials classes.
The campus would like to thank the Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students), Parent Teacher Organization and volunteers who donated countless hours to the school.
Buckalew Elementary School On May 30, third grade students will have a Banana Split party to celebrate completion of their reading goals.
On Thursday, June 1, the fourth grade Graduation will be held at 1 p.m.
Creighton Elementary School The school will hold an Awards Ceremony on May 30. Third grade will be celebrated at 9 a.m. while fourth grade is celebrated at 1:30 p.m.
May 31, the fourth grade Awards Ceremony will be at 9 a.m.
Ford Elementary School Fourth grade awards will be given out on May 30 at 9:30 a.m.
A school-wide picnic will be held on May 31 during lunch times.
Summer school will start June 6 and continue through June 29.
Galatas Elementary School Galatas Elementary Kindergarten students will enjoy a picnic on May 30 at 11:45 a.m. Third grade will have their picnic on May 30 at 11:30 a.m. The second grade and fourth grade picnics will be on May 31 at 12 and 12:15 p.m., respectively.
Fourth Grade Clap-out will be at 2:45 on May 31.
Glen Loch Elementary School Kindergarten Graduation will be held in the Cafeteria on Thursday, May 31, at 9 a.m.
Houser Elementary School Family Skate Night will be held on May 29 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at SK8 Town.
May 29, the school’s N.E.A.T. (Never Ever Absent of Tardy) Celebration at 2:15 p.m.
Kindergarten Graduation will be on May 31 at 9 a.m.
Houston Elementary School Kindergarten students performed a Kindergarten Celebration on May 24, which was directed by Leslie Blanchard.
Students collected 15,000 box tops in the Box Tops for Education program. The school has received a check of $1,252 for this accomplishment and will receive a second check in November for $250. In return for their hard work, students enjoyed celebrations with popcorn, ice cream, and popsicles.
Milam Elementary School On Tuesday, May 29, Kindergarten regular classes will hold a celebration in the Cafeteria at 9 a.m. Kindergarten bilingual classes will hold a celebration in the cafeteria at 1 p.m.
On Wednesday, May 30, second grade classes will be presented awards in their classrooms at 9 a.m. First grade classes will be presented awards in their classrooms at 1 p.m.
On Thursday, May 31, fourth grade classes will be presented awards in the Cafeteria at 9:30 a.m. Third grade classes will be presented awards in the cafeteria at 1 p.m.
