Mike Marsh Named as Principal of Sam Houston Elementary

Mike Marsh was named the principal of Sam Houston Elementary School when Board members approved the recommendation of Superintendent Dr. Don Stockton during the May Board meeting. Marsh is currently serving as interim principal of the school.
After the Board approved the recommendation, Marsh had this to say, "It is an honor to be part of such a great school and District. I am thrilled for this opportunity to serve as the educational leader for the students, parents, staff, and community. I look forward to the continued success of the school."
Mr. Marsh earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Sam Houston State University. He has served as an assistant principal of Buckalew Elementary and as principal of Powell Elementary.
