Lisa S. Meeks was named Director of Communications during the May meeting of the Board of Trustees. She will replace the current director, Kathy Clark, who joined the Conroe ISD family in 1983 and is retiring after serving as an educator for thirty-seven years.

Lisa is currently the associate principal for Caney Creek High School. She began her career with Conroe ISD in 2004 when she was hired at Caney Creek High as an English teacher. During the past eight years she has also served as the dance/drill team director for Moorhead Junior High, summer school principal, and assistant principal for Caney Creek High.

Mrs. Meeks received her Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University in 2003 and a Master of Education Degree from Sam Houston State University in 2008. She will complete a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership in May, 2012.
