Ambassadors Honored by Board of Trustees

The Conroe Independent School District Board of Trustees honored several individuals with the Ambassador Award when Board member Dr. Ann Snyder and Dr. Don Stockton, Superintendent, visited their campuses.
The Board of Trustees began the Ambassador Award several years ago to recognize individuals for their positive contributions to campus life and campus climate. Each of the fifty-five campuses is visited by a member from the Board who surprises the award recipients while they are performing their duties as either a student or employee.
Students honored were Avery Aiken, The Woodlands High-9th Grade Campus; Grace Freitag, Tough Elementary; Anna King, Deretchin Elementary; Abbey Newlun, Buckalew Elementary; Carolyn Bienvenu, Mitchell Intermediate; and Collin Rue, Bush Elementary.
Paraprofessionals honored were Laura Myers, The Woodlands High-9th Grade Campus; Carolyn Hannon, Tough Elementary; Kerry Morriss, Deretchin Elementary; Mitzi Wiseman, Buckalew Elementary; Lisa Killion and Elaine Creighton, Mitchell Intermediate; and Christi Soileau, Bush Elementary.
Educators honored were Rhonda Stephens, The Woodlands High-9th Grade Campus; Kelly Donald, Tough Elementary; Selene Lander, Deretchin Elementary; Peggy Balzer, Buckalew Elementary; Georgie Bauer, Mitchell Intermediate; and Veronica Reyna, Bush Elementary.
