Ambassadors Honored by Board of Trustees

The Conroe Independent School District Board of Trustees honored several individuals with the Ambassador Award when Board member CJ Haynes and Dr. Don Stockton, Superintendent, visited their campuses on April 19.
The Board of Trustees began the Ambassador Award several years ago to recognize individuals for their positive contributions to campus life and campus climate. Each of the fifty-five campuses is visited by a member from the Board who surprises the award recipients while they are performing their duties as either a student or employee.
Students honored were Lashell Haynes, Hauke Academic Alternative High; Ana Amado, Anderson Elementary; Isaac Martinez, Houston Elementary; and Frankcheskia Pyrtle, Travis Intermediate.
Paraprofessionals honored were Armandina Garza, Anderson Elementary; Oneida Chapa, Houston Elementary; and Pam Rector, Travis Intermediate.
Educators honored were Tim Spurlock, Hauke Academic Alternative High; Teddy Castillo, DAEP; Heather Long, JJAEP; Lori Bonnin, Juvenile Detention Center; Maricruz Gutierrez, Anderson Elementary; Cynthia Lozano, Houston Elementary, and Elizabeth Hauser, Travis Intermediate.
