Board Members Recognize Corcoran

Russell Corcoran, Assistant Principal of Peet Junior High School, was recognized by the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees for being named as the Region VI Outstanding Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year. Corcoran was selected by his peers for being a risk taker, a visionary, and leader of learners. Past recognitions include Nominee for Disney Teacher of the Year and selection as the campus Humanitarian of the Year for Peet and Moorhead Junior High Schools.

He has eighteen years of experience as an educator with fifteen of those years in Conroe ISD. Corcoran has been a member of the leadership team at Peet Junior High since 2005. He attended Sam Houston State University where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters of Education degree in Educational Leadership.

"Russell is an exemplary asset to the students, faculty, staff, and community of Peet Junior High," stated Mark Weatherly, Principal. "He is dedicated and committed to producing tomorrow's leaders."
