Campus Update

We are so proud of all our Science Fair winners, and the students who will be continuing on to the Houston Regional Science Fair the weekend of February 26-28. 66 of our students took first place in their respective categories! Congratulations are in order for them, as well as the number of students who did well and placed in the Engineering Design Competition recently. Especially exciting is the results of the Science Quiz Bowl, in which two of our teams did extremely well and one of them took first place! Both teams will go on to compete at the Regional Science Bowl competition at Texas A&M on March 5. It has been a busy month for science!

A club golf signup sheet will be provided in the commons the first two weeks of March. Any student wishing to try out for golf needs to sign up during his or her lunch. Announcements will be made during lunch and during advisory. Students must have a copy of their birth certificate and a current physical dated after April 15, 2015 on file with the coaching staff. Dates for tryouts will be determined once availability of golf course is determined. Knowledge of the rules and how to play are necessary.
