Board of Trustees Recognize School Ambassadors

The Conroe Independent School District Board of Trustees honored several individuals with an Ambassador Award when Board Members Mr. Datren Williams and Mr. John Husbands along with Superintendent Dr. Curtis Null visited Caney Creek High School, Creighton Elementary, Moorhead Junior High, Milam Elementary, and Grangerland Intermediate.

The Board of Trustees began the Ambassador Awards to recognize individuals for their positive contributions to campus life and campus climate. Throughout the year, each campus is visited by one or more members of the Board who surprise the award recipients while they are performing their duties as either a student or an employee.

Students honored were Ariana Cossie, Caney Creek High School; Kevin Daily, Creighton Elementary; Lysette Torres, Moorhead Junior High; Karis Downs, Milam Elementary; and Monica Garcia, Grangerland Intermediate.

Paraprofessionals honored were Veronica Castro, Caney Creek High School; Nadia Campos, Creighton Elementary; Rachel Zimmerman, Moorhead Junior High; Irene Cuello, Milam Elementary; and Venus Sessions, Grangerland Intermediate.

Educators honored were Stephen Green, Caney Creek High School; Katie Humphreys, Creighton Elementary; Dusty Joiner, Moorhead Junior High; Kelli Burns, Milam Elementary; and Brianne Burks, Grangerland Intermediate.
