John
C. Husbands, CLTC, current Second Vice President, is an insurance agent and
registered representative with Soules Insurance Agency, Inc., specializing in
Business and Estate Analysis and Investment Advisory Services.
He has been engaged in the security and insurance business for 20 years.
Mr. Husbands is a 1978 graduate of Conroe High School and earned his
Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from The University of Texas at
Austin in 1982.
He has an extensive career of service to the community including Past
Chairman and Board Member of Montgomery County Youth Services, Education for
Tomorrow Alliance, Leadership Montgomery County, LMC Alumni Association, Young
Life Committee, Academy of Science and Health Advisory Board, Montgomery County
Texas-Ex Student Association, and Montgomery County United Way. He is a member of
the Rotary Club of Conroe where he was named a Paul Harris Fellow, a Lifetime
Member of the Montgomery County Fair Association, a Special Commissioner for
Montgomery County, and a Deacon at First Baptist Church
He and his wife, LuAnne, live in Conroe and have three daughters Helen, Julia,
and Susanna. Helen and Julia have graduated from CISD and are currently
attending college. Susanna attends
school in the District. John and LuAnne have both served on the PTO/PTA Boards
and/or Site Based Improvement Committees of Giesinger Elementary, Reaves
Intermediate, Peet Junior High, and Conroe High School.
Mr.
Husbands' term expires in 2012.
